Discontinuance of anti-dumping duty on Barium Carbonate – International Trade Law Update #57
Through our International Trade Law Update #49, we highlighted that DGTR has issued final findings in 2nd sunset review concerning imports of Barium Carbonate from China, recommending discontinuance of existing anti-dumping duty.
On August 24, 2021, Ministry of Finance issued notification accepting the recommendation of DGTR and rescinded anti-dumping duty on Barium Carbonate. From August 24, 2021, no anti-dumping duty is leviable on import of Barium Carbonate from China.
