This is in furtherance to the earliar update, where we shared an update regarding the Customs, Excise & Service Tax Appellate Tribunal (‘CESTAT’) initiating virtual hearings.

The CESTAT has now extended facility for benches located in Delhi, Kolkata and Allahabad vide Public Notice No. 3 of 2020 dated August 14, 2020. Notable that Chennai remains the only regional bench where virtual hearing is yet to begin.
