On May 3, 2021 DGTR has issued final findings pursuant to sunset review, recommending continued levy of ADD on import of Methyl Acetoacetate from China for a further term of 5 years.
Ministry of Finance had earlier imposed ADD on subject goods vide Notification No. 22/2016 – Customs (ADD) dated May 31, 2016. The said levy is due to expire on May 30, 2021.
