Ministry of Finance on May 24,2021 issued a Notification extending levy of anti-dumping duty (ADD) till January 10, 2022 on imports of Tetrafluoroethane or R-134a from China.

The period of ADD levy has been extended in light of recent anti-dumping sunset review initiated by the DGTR on R-134a imports from China.

ADD was originally levied on said goods vide Notification No. 61/2011- Customs (ADD) dated July 15, 2011, which was extended for further peirod of 5 years vide Notification No. 30/2016 – Customs (ADD) dated July 11,2016, expiring on July 10, 2021.
