EU has proposed extending existing safeguard meaures on Certain Steel Products on imports into EU for next 3 years starting July 01, 2021.

The initial safeguard measure was from July 19, 2018 until June 30, 2021.

The main exporting countries of the product concerned are: Turkey, Russian Federation, India, People’s Republic of China, Republic of Korea and Ukraine.

As per the regulations, consultations with affected country governments will take place between June 14, 2021 and June 18, 2021, to exchange views on the proposed measures.
