Cenvat Alert | Optional single registration and return for importer and dealer

This is to update you regarding recent Notification No.30/2016-CX (NT) dated June 28, 2016 issued by the Central Government wherein an option is given to a taxpayer who is an importer to not to take registration as a first stage dealer and vice versa.
