On May 12, 2021 DGTR published its final findings recommending levy of ADD on import of Acrylonitrile Butadiene Rubber from EU, Japan, Russia and China. The product under consideration excludes Latex NBR, Liquid NBR, Powder NBR and Carboxylated NBR.

The duty, if imposed, is likely to impact industries producing rubber articles such as oil seals, hoses, automotive products, gaskets, printers, etc.

Ministry of Finance has three months to accept/reject the recommendation of DGTR.
